Doing Good

Doing Good

There is a very motivating quote by one of the greats in the pages of history, Winston Churchill, who said that, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give”. It is so very true. The least we can do is share a smile and it will make a big difference in others life. Here are some social causes and ways on which you can think upon and act then:

(1) Children: They are the weakest section of any society and the future of the same society. Any child needs care and love, physically and mentally, too. If one can, they shoulder foster children or else provide for their well-being to such organizations and orphanages or volunteer to spend some time with the children and also help them in their social interactions.

(2) Health: There many cases of illness and some diseases like, Cancer, AIDS etc; that are out of reach for many people to approach and provide for the required medical support. One could provide for such, through their respective organizations, and fund them. After all, ‘Health is wealth’, in every society.

(3) Education: In many South American, Asian and European countries, there are several kids who don’t go to school and rather join their parents in the labour and work hard to feed their stomach when they should be tasting leisure and having fun. There many social works happening in such areas for these kids. A small amount from you will only bring smiles on their face.

There are innumerable social causes and together we can fight them. As someone has said that, ‘No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted”.
